Diane Esquedais a Certified Nutrition Consultant and owner/founder of New Vitality Nutrition. She is committed to helping people reach optimal health through whole foods nutrition, lifestyle changes and appropriate supplementation. She offers caring guidance and support throughout her programs.
Diane has had a life long passion for health and nutrition. She attributes this to growing up very close to nature, developing a love and appreciation of the natural world. Raised on a farm in eastern Washington State, she spent most of her time outdoors where she delighted in picking fresh apples, cherries, and peaches direct from the trees in the orchard. She watched her mother grow a huge flourishing garden filled with various fruits and vegetables which she canned, froze, pickled and included in home cooked meals. It was as a child that she developed a love of whole, fresh food and realized her innate interest in health and nutrition. She learned to understand how the wisdom of nature and delicate balance of the environment relates to the inherent wisdom and delicate balance within our bodies. This inspired her to pursue her true passion later in life by obtaining an education in nutrition which she loves to share with anyone who will listen.
Diane received her education through state licensed Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts in Berkeley California where she graduated with honors. She also holds a certificate for completing a professional training program in functional and clinical nutrition. Diane is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. She continues to attend seminars and conferences to keep up on cutting edge nutrition information.
She lives near La Quinta, California with her husband, two dogs, and cat on a small horse property, where she boards horses as a side business. She enjoys hiking, travel, cooking, gardening, hanging out with her animals and of course learning as much as she can about health and nutrition.
